• Most data is already in Snowflake

  ; some data will be

  piped in from external sources

• The role will focus on

  validating data accuracy, transformations, and reconciliation

  across systems to ensure compliance.
• The project is

  business-critical

  , with a strong emphasis on

  data quality, governance, and validation

  .

Key Responsibilities

• Test and validate

  data migrations, ETL/ELT processes, and transformations

  in

  Snowflake

  .
• Perform

  data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation

  between source and target systems.
• Write and execute

  SQL queries

  in

  Snowflake

  to verify data integrity and transformations.
• Design, implement, and maintain

  automated testing frameworks

  for Snowflake data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with

  data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts

  to gather test requirements.
• Document test cases, results, and defects, and drive defect resolution.
• Support compliance with

  audit, governance, and data quality standards

  .

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience

  in

  data testing

  (ETL, migrations, transformations).
• Strong

  Snowflake expertise

  (data validation, transformations, query optimization, schema validation).
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for writing complex queries in

  Snowflake

  .
• Experience with

  ETL/ELT tools

  (Informatica, Talend, DBT, Matillion, or similar).
• Exposure to

  automated testing frameworks

  for data validation (e.g., PyTest, dbt tests, Great Expectations).
• Strong understanding of

  data quality frameworks

  and reconciliation methods.
• Excellent analytical and

  communication skills
