Data Scientist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist with 5–8 years of experience to join our AI Engineering team. In this hybrid role, you will work at the intersection of NLP, and AI product development, contributing to end-to-end solutions — from experimentation to deployment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models across supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning paradigms.
• Convert business problems into AI problems, define success metrics, and deliver measurable impact.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to transition prototypes into production-grade pipelines.
• Develop and optimize AI workflows, ensuring the pipelines are robust and scalable.
• Conduct model evaluations, A/B testing, and interpret model results for business impact.
• Contribute to AI platform initiatives by building reusable components (e.g., model templates, experiment tracking, evaluation frameworks).
• Leverage cloud-based ML platforms (GCP - Vertex AI) and AI Ops tools for continuous delivery of models.
• Engage in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and integrating LLMs or other generative AI models for enterprise use cases.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align model development with strategic business goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of experience in data science(NLP) or machine learning roles, with a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and Python.
• Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using AI tools - VertexAI, Langchain and other Agent Framework
• Exposure to LLMs (Large Language Models) and experience with prompt engineering or fine-tuning is a strong plus.
• Solid experience in building and deploying AI models in production (batch or real-time).
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model selection, and Agents.
• Experience working with AIOps tools like Vertex AI or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD for ML, containerization (Docker), and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, AIOps
• Understanding of data governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI principles.
