Designation: Manager - Data Scientist Preferred Experience: 9 - 12 years Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field with a strong foundation in data science and machine learning9+ years of hands-on Data Science experience with a proven record of independently deploying complex projects to productionExpertise in predictive modeling, deep learning, advanced analytics, and the mathematical and statistical foundations of machine learningExceptional Python coding skills and proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g.,MySQL, PostgreSQL)Extensive experience in Big Data technologies, cloud platforms, and developing custom algorithmic solutions beyond off-the-shelf modelsUnderstanding of AI ethics, governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) standardsStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and manage cross-functional relationshipsWillingness to travel to the MENA region based on business needs Responsibilities Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely deliveryCollaborate with business stakeholders to define and scope data science initiatives that address complex challenges and drive value creationImplement and oversee data engineering for ML projects, including data extraction, validation, cleansing, processing, modeling and storageAnalyze and interpret complex data sets to uncover trends and insights utilizing advanced visualization tools to communicate findings to the stakeholdersApply and refine advanced machine learning algorithms and methods best suited to solve specific business problemsMaintain high standards of code quality and lead the engagements in adopting best practices in machine learning developmentFormulate and execute the organization's AI strategy, incorporating the latest industry trends and ethical considerationsDevelop AI governance frameworks to promote responsible use of AI technologiesLead collaboration efforts with other team members and departments to achieve data science outcomes and manage multiple strategic initiativesMentor and develop junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation EY | Building a better working world EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
