Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to lead the delivery of high-accuracy Forecasting models. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning, combined with the ability to work with complex, multi-source structured financial datasets. You will collaborate with Finance, Commissions, Sales Ops, and IT teams to solve forecasting challenges, improve model accuracy, and drive strategic business decisions. Experience with financial forecasting, sales incentive modelling, or compensation analytics will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Modelling

Analyse large, complex datasets (commission payouts, quotas, attainment, invoice revenue, FX rates).
Build predictive models such as regression, time series forecasting, ensemble methods, deep learning regression.
Engineer domain-specific features: quota change flags, attainment trends, seasonality indicators, FX normalization, plan logic encoding.
Conduct back testing and validation using historical data, monitor model drift and accuracy.
Present model outputs and insights using clear, impactful visualizations.

Collaboration & Business Understanding

Partner with Finance, Commissions, and Sales Ops to understand payout rules and commission processes.
Translate business drivers and rules into model features.
Engage stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure outputs meet accuracy and usability needs.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of related work experience in data science, ML engineering, or analytics.
Proven track record of delivering end-to-end ML projects in production.
Experience working with structured financial data, preferably in Financial Forecasting .
