Role Overview

Data Scientist (Trainer + Developer)

Data Science & AI training sessions

Work Pattern:

• Based primarily at our Kochi (Palarivattom) office
• 1–2 days per week on-site at partner colleges across Kerala

Key Responsibilities

1. Faculty Training

• Deliver lectures, lab sessions, and workshops on:

• Advanced Python, Data Analysis (NumPy, Pandas, Power BI, Tableau)

• Statistics, EDA, Machine Learning, Deep Learning (CNN, RNN, GANs)

• Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Prompt Engineering, and Generative AI

• Conduct project reviews, evaluations, and student mentoring sessions.
• Continuously update training modules and research materials.

2. Research & Development

• Work with the

  R&D team

  on

  live AI/ML and Generative AI projects

  for internal and client use.
• Develop

  AI models, APIs, and demo applications

  using cutting-edge techniques.
• Experiment with

  foundation models

  ,

  fine-tuning

  , and

  prompt-based systems

  .

3. Collaboration & Travel

• Coordinate with partner colleges and academic teams.
• Travel 1–2 days per week for on-site sessions across Kerala.

Generative AI Focus (Detailed)

As part of Singularis’ AI curriculum and R&D work, you will get exposure to and/or train students in:

• Foundation Models:

  Understanding architectures like GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Gemini, and others.

• Prompt Engineering:

  Designing effective prompts for LLMs, image generators, and multimodal models.

• Text Generation & NLP:

  Using LLMs for summarization, translation, code generation, and chatbot creation.

• Image & Video Generation:

  Working with

  Stable Diffusion

  ,

  Midjourney

  ,

  DALL·E

  , and

  ControlNet

  .

• Fine-tuning & Model Customization:

  Using

  LoRA

  ,

  PEFT

  , and

  OpenAI APIs

  for domain-specific models.

• Generative AI Tools & Frameworks:

  LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face Transformers, Streamlit, and Gradio.

• Applied Projects:

• AI Assistants and Chatbots
• Text-to-Image/Video applications
• Code generation tools
• AI content creation & automation
• Knowledge base and document Q&A systems

• Programming:

  Python (Advanced, OOP, File Handling, Tkinter)

• Data Science Tools:

  NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI, Tableau

• Machine Learning:

  Regression, Decision Trees, SVM, Random Forest, Ensemble Models, Model Deployment

• Deep Learning:

  TensorFlow, Keras, CNN, RNN/LSTM/GRU, GANs, Autoencoders

• AI & Computer Vision:

  OpenCV, YOLO, NLP, Reinforcement Learning

• Generative AI & LLMs:

  OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face, Stable Diffusion

• Prompt Engineering:

  Context optimization, multi-step prompts, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel within Kerala for academic sessions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s

  in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields

• Teaching or mentoring experience

  is a plus but

  not mandatory

• Hands-on project experience

  in AI, ML, or Generative AI preferred

• Freshers are highly encouraged to apply
