Job Title: Data Science Specialist (AI & ML) Experience: 6+ Years Location: Remote (South Africa-based client) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Science Professional with over 6 years of expertise in AI and ML to support our client’s data-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced machine learning and AI solutions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and inform business strategies Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for diverse applications Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective ML solutions Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments Explore and implement advanced AI techniques such as NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems Keep abreast of emerging AI/ML trends and incorporate innovative approaches Work with data engineers and software developers to integrate models into larger systems Document methodologies and ensure code quality for sustainable solutions Skills & Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in data science, AI, and ML projects Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc. Expertise in statistical analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI solutions Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely Good project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specialized AI domains such as Deep Learning, NLP, or Computer Vision Familiarity with Big Data tools like Spark or Hadoop Show more Show less
