Job Description

In this role, you will be part of the Data Operations team that ensures our product catalog and vendor data are accurate, clean, and optimized for business use. You will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and technology platforms to manage product listings, collate and clean data, and ensure smooth data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Listing & Management
  • Upload and manage product data across Material Depot’s systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of product attributes (size, finish, pricing, categories).
  • Vendor Coordination
  • Interact with vendors to gather and validate product data.
  • Follow up with vendors for missing information or clarifications.
  • Data Cleaning & Collation
  • Collect raw data from multiple sources and transform it into structured formats.
  • Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors in data and resolve them proactively.
  • Data Analysis & Queries
  • Use SQL to query, validate, and manipulate datasets.
  • Generate reports and insights to support internal teams.
  • Excel Mastery
  • Create and maintain detailed Excel sheets for bulk product uploads and validations.
  • Build advanced formulas, pivot tables, and automated checks for efficiency.
  • Process Efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of data hygiene across all systems.
  • Contribute ideas to improve data workflows and automation.
