We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with expertise in cloud analytics to design, develop, and maintain data models that enable scalable analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure that cloud data architecture supports business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.
Design and implement logical and physical data models for cloud analytics platforms.
Collaborate with business teams to gather and translate requirements into efficient data structures.
Work with data engineers to ensure models are implemented in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and query efficiency.
Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation for all models.
Support ETL/ELT pipeline design and ensure alignment with data models.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Collaborate with BI developers to support dashboards and reporting solutions.
3–8+ years of experience in data modeling, analytics, or BI development.
Strong experience with cloud data platforms: Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
Expertise in dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and normalization/denormalization.
Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow, Informatica, Talend, or cloud-native pipelines).
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Experience with Python/R for analytics.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools: Tableau, Looker, Power BI.
Understanding of big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
Exposure to CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
