Role: Data Engineer - Linux shell scripting, Python Skillset Required - 4-6yrs of Relevant Experience in Linux shell scripting, Python scripts exp(good to have), ETL, GIT, SQL, data pipelines, Cloud AWS Azure Location: Gurgaon, Hybrid Work Timings: 12-9pm IST Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with strong skills in Linux, GIT, SQL to support our initiatives in Insurance and Marketing Analytics. This role is pivotal in automating and streamlining current processes by designing and implementing efficient, resulable components within a Linux environment to support Python scripting and data workfows Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and automation workflows. · Create and manage reusable components and shared objects in Linux to enhance Python scripting efficiency. · Write efficient, scalable SQL queries and database procedures for data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL). · Leverage GIT for version control and collaboration across cross functional teams. · Utilize Visual Studio or equivalent IDEs for script development and debugging. Candidate Profile: · Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Devops. · Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Relational Databases. Proficiency in Visual Studio or similar development environments. Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and familiarity with vi editor for configuration and scripting tasks. Familiarity with Python and ability to integrate Linux-based tools with Python scripts. Solid experience with GIT for code management and version control.
