Data Engineer (in Supply Chain Domain)

Roles and responsibilities

• Understand business requirements for the given Supply Chain Data Analytics project and build high-quality data processing/transformation programs.
• Perform Data profiling and produce an outcome in business terms.
• Do data story telling bringing out top insights from the given data.
• Write complex logics in python programs and construct complex SQLs for achieving the required business logics
• Create optimization algorithm, ML models at ease.
• Architect and draw data flow diagrams for complex data transformations
• Speak with customers and prospects in high degree of technical and functional (supply chain) depth and bring trust
• Design, develop and optimise the program by analysing bottlenecks and resolving those in a timely
• Proactively surface the challenges or data quality issues and work to resolve the same in the right way
• To contribute as an individual contributor as well as module lead with a very high degree of commitment and integrity.
• Bring innovation in every step. Follow test-driven development.
• Ability to make effective communication within the team and with the customers.

Skills and experience

• Highly skilled in Python development in Supply Chain Domain (Polars based).
• Ability to perform Operational research based programming or Advanced analytics
• Analytical problem solving skills.
• Highly skilled in Advanced SQL
• Strong in Data modeling and Dimensional Modeling
• Experience working in cloud based solutions
• Very strong in both row level and bulk data processing approaches
• Ability to arrive at design quickly without any external support

Eligibility

• Minimum of Bachelors degree.
• 2+ Years of relevant experience
• Certification or advanced courses in ML/Cloud/NN
• Certification or degree in Supply Chain
