About the Role :

We’re looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our team and help shape the data products that drive critical business decisions. In this role, you’ll work on building and scaling robust data pipelines, solving complex data challenges, and working with large datasets. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and key stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment to design high-quality, reliable solutions that ensure data accuracy and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and systems.
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance the data ecosystem.
• Identify data quality issues and implement long-term, sustainable solutions.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
• Manage and monitor critical infrastructure dependencies, ensuring smooth upgrades and robust system performance.
• Develop, optimize, and automate data processes for large-scale datasets and complex workflows.

What We’re Looking For :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Python or Scala (3+ years).
• Solid hands-on SQL skills (3+ years).
• Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Practical experience building data pipelines using tools like AWS Glue, Step Functions, Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow.

·      Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals, data modeling, SDLC best practices, Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD workflows.

Bonus Points :

• Experience designing or building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of serverless technologies and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
