Data Analyst (BA & SQL) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team
The ideal candidate will have expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and advance SQL The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform business decisions Key Responsibilities Collect and document business requirements/user stories from multiple teams Design, develop, and deliver data solutions within various database environments (Teradata, SAS) Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement, and test data models and database management systems Utilize advanced SQL to analyse data and perform data mining analysis Effectively manage data mining analysis and report to various stakeholders Establish and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams Required Skills Business Intelligence Experience: experience in business intelligence-related functions (testing, analysis, coding, etc) Programming Languages: Proficiency in SAS, Oracle, and Teradata SQL Relational Databases: Strong knowledge of MySQL, DB2, etc Autonomy and Motivation: Autonomous and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile Nice-to-Have Skills Excellent communication skills Advanced SQL skills (preferably Teradata) Working knowledge of SAS Viya (cloud product) Google Cloud experience (including BigQuery) Working knowledge of MicroStrategy Soft Skills Assets Strong leadership skills with risk management Results-oriented Understanding of business needs/input, customer focus Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment with good tolerance to ambiguity and manage multiple projects Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
