About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Windows Engineer (L3 level) with 79 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, web hosting, mail systems, and database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, the ability to manage complex environments, and the capability to lead escalations, mentor juniors, and ensure seamless infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

Web Hosting & Web Server Administration :

  • Advanced configuration and management of IIS, Apache, Nginx, Plesk, and cPanel
  • Fixing critical security vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, host-header injection, weak encryption)
  • End-to-end management of SSL, caching, extensions, and performance tuning
  • Migration, upgrade, DR planning, and optimization of websites and apps
  • High-availability configuration including load balancing and backup/restore

Mail Servers (Windows Based)

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange, SmarterMail, and MailEnable
  • Handling large-scale mail environments, security hardening, and patching
  • DR planning, troubleshooting, and high-availability mail setup

Database Administration (Windows)

  • Advanced management of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Troubleshooting performance issues, replication, backup and recovery
  • Patch management and optimization for DB infrastructure

General & Leadership

  • Deep understanding of Windows Server OS (2012, 2016, 2019), AD, DNS, DHCP
  • Strong networking and security fundamentals
  • Mentoring L1/L2 teams and leading critical incident resolution
  • Comfortable with a 24x7 support environment

Requirements

  • 7 to 9 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and escalation management skills
  • Ability to independently manage and secure production environments
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and on-call
