Job Summary:

Senior Cyber Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and perform
cybersecurity risk assessments
across systems, applications, and networks.
Implement, configure, and manage
security monitoring and detection tools
(e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
Respond to and investigate security incidents
, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
Develop and maintain
security policies, standards, and procedures
to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to
implement security best practices
in infrastructure and applications.
Conduct
vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling
activities.
Monitor
security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence
to proactively mitigate risks.
Support
user awareness and training programs
to strengthen the organization’s security culture.
Prepare
incident and risk reports
for management review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity
, or related field.
Minimum
4 years of hands-on experience
in cybersecurity operations, risk management, or incident response.
Strong knowledge of
network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence
.
Experience with tools such as
SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), Firewalls, EDR, and DLP
.
Familiarity with
ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2
, or other security compliance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications preferred:
CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience in
cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of
DevSecOps practices
and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
Experience with
incident automation and response orchestration (SOAR)
tools.
