About the Role:

Cybersecurity Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and threat modeling.
• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
• Design and deploy security tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
• Educate employees on security awareness and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience

  in cybersecurity, IT security, or network security roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, encryption technologies, and security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell preferred).
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certifications such as

  CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+

  are a plus.
