Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats, as well as implementing best practices to protect organizational systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, incident response, and threat management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various tools and systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.).
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate timely incident response.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, attack vectors, and security technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems, applications, and networks.
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations to improve the organization’s security posture.
• Assist in security awareness training for employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint protection, etc.).
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Understanding of incident response, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
• Proficiency in security tools and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell preferred).
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus.
