Cyber Engineer

As a Cyber Engineer within our cyber Ops function at Maersk, your role is crucial in reducing the attack surface for Maersk, ensuring effective management and mitigation of cyber security risks. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders within Cyber Security and other functions, drawing on your technical skills to resolve issues and support the organization in delivering business outcomes safely and securely. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within eco systems and networks - Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing - Developing and implementing remediation plans - Collaborating with extended cyber teams for timely issue resolution - Monitoring security alerts and threat intelligence - Maintaining and updating vulnerability management tools - Preparing reports on vulnerability status and progress - Developing security policies, procedures, and best practices - Providing guidance and training on vulnerability management and security awareness The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate security professional with technical skills and a proactive approach to security. While expertise is not mandatory, technical insight is required. Experience in working in an agile environment and familiarity with tools like Confluence and Jira are advantageous.
