Technical Customer support Associate – Smart Metering Domain (m/f)

📍 Location: Surat / Meerut (Onsite)

• Technical Knowledge:

  Work with smart metering, AMI, Head-End Systems (HES), Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), and Workforce Management (WFM) in daily support activities. Perform daily data sanity checks for non-communicating & never-communicating meters.

• Customer Issue Resolution:

  Act as the first point of contact for customer-reported issues. Escalate unresolved issues to L2 support as per the defined matrix.

• Workflow Adherence:

  Follow established support workflows, ensuring compliance with SLA timelines and priorities.

• Ticketing Systems:

  Log, update, and track issues in Jira, Zoho Desk, or Freshdesk (prior experience is an advantage).

• Off-Hours Support:

  Be available beyond standard working hours when required, ensuring timely customer resolution.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, communication, and documentation.

• Communication:

  Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English for effective customer and team interactions.

• On-Site Issue Resolution:

  Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues using the knowledge base to minimize disruption in utility services.

• Strong technical aptitude in smart metering and utility systems.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing tools and MS Office.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to work onsite and support customers beyond regular hours if required.
