Job Title: Customer Service Executive (Sanitary and Bath Fittings) Location: Gurugram Department: Sales & Customer Support Reports To: Store Manager / Sales Supervisor Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our sanitary and bath fittings store. As the first point of contact for walk-in customers , you will play a critical role in guiding them through their in-store journey — from understanding their needs and recommending suitable products to generating sales and purchase orders. You will also coordinate closely with store operations to ensure a smooth and satisfying customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a positive and professional first impression. Understand customer requirements and assist in identifying the most suitable sanitary and bath fitting products. Explain product features, specifications, and pricing clearly and confidently. Generate Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO) accurately using store systems or ERP tools. Liaise and coordinate with the store operations team to ensure timely availability and delivery of products. Handle customer queries, complaints, or concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, trends, and new launches. Work collaboratively with the sales and inventory teams to ensure stock availability and proper product display. Achieve individual and store-level sales targets. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail or sanitaryware/bath fittings industry. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Must be confident and comfortable working on the floor in a fast-paced retail environment. Basic knowledge of sales systems and familiarity with order management processes (SO/PO) . Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of customer service under pressure. Fluent in [local language] and English/Hindi. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in handling sanitaryware, hardware, or home improvement product categories. Proficiency in using billing software or ERP systems (Tally, SAP, etc.). High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is a plus.
