Job Role: Customer Refund & Reconciliation Executive

Location: Pune Baner

Department: Accounts & Finance ( Coordination with Customer Service Team)

Experience: 2–4 years (preferred in e-commerce or related domains)

Reporting to: Aassistant Manager


Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Refund & Reconciliation Executive to manage end-to-end refund processing and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Customer Service and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of refunds and related financial documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

● Maintain and update refund requests data received from the Customer Service team.

● Verify and ensure accuracy and completeness of refund details before initiating refunds via Shopify, Clickpost, Gokwik, and COD platforms.

● Communicate promptly with the Customer Success team regarding any unprocessed refunds, providing clear reasons.

● Ensure all refunds are processed within defined daily timelines.

● Assist in reconciliation and reporting of refund activities on a weekly basis.

● Prepare credit notes for processed refunds and map them accurately with corresponding bank entries.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of discrepancies.

● Maintain high attention to detail to prevent errors and support audit/compliance requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

● Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).

● Strong analytical and organizational skills.

● Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

● Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively across teams.


Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

● Prior experience in e-commerce refund processing or financial operations.

● Knowledge of payment gateways and COD refund workflows.
