15 years full time educationSummary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in coding, testing, and debugging processes, ensuring that the software meets quality standards and aligns with project goals. Additionally, you will participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and innovative ideas for improvement, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must have minimum 7 years of exp in software development. - Have minimum 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Python and frameworks such as Flask and Django, including familiarity with proprietary tools like JUnit and Cucumber, as well as build tools such as Maven. - Have strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab Runner and TeamCity, along with solid experience in GitLab SCM. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Have practical exposure to any database technology, such as MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, or SQLite. - Working knowledge of test management tools like JIRA and Silk Central is essential. - Have experience in managing and maintaining applications deployed on the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). - Have proficiency in Docker and container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes administration and Red Hat cluster management. - Familiarity with Helm for package management and a solid understanding of Linux fundamentals. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
