Summary:As a Software Development Lead, As a Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Oracle Payroll implementations and support engagements for global clients.You will lead end-to-end delivery of Payroll implementations, leveraging AI copilots, automation agents, and predictive analytics to enhance accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll operations. You will also mentor functional teams, manage stakeholders, and help clients adopt AI-first payroll practices that reduce manual effort and improve employee experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions, leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate solution design and validation.Conduct workshops with client stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and translate them into functional designs.Configure and validate Payroll Elements, Balances, Fast Formulas, Costing, and Payment Methods.Manage pre-payroll, costing, and post-payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance.Integrate Payroll with Core HR, Time & Labor, and Absence Management modules.Lead the functional testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and support data migration, parallel runs, and cutover activities.Manage payroll issue triage and ensure timely resolution during deployment and hyper care.Provide guidance and mentorship to consultants and analysts within the functional team.Participate in pre-sales, estimation, and solutioning for Oracle Payroll opportunities.Stay current with Oracle quarterly updates, assess impact on Payroll, and recommend optimizations. Skills:8–12 years of total experience in the Oracle HCM domain.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation or support.Expertise in Payroll Fast Formulas, Element Configuration, Balance Definitions, Costing, and Retro-pay Processing.Strong understanding of Core HR, Time & Labor, and Absence Management integration points.Experience leading at least two full-cycle Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing functional teams within a global delivery model.Familiarity with AI and automation tools for payroll validation, error detection, or
Additional Information:The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.This position is based at our Bengaluru office.A 15 years full time education is required.MBA (HR/Finance) or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
