Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer experienced in upgrading legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET (6/7/8). The ideal candidate is strong in code analysis, migration planning, refactoring€”and highly proficient in using GitHub Copilot to accelerate modernization work.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing .NET Framework applications and plan upgrade strategy.Migrate and modernize codebases to .NET 6/7/8, replacing deprecated APIs and libraries.Refactor legacy modules into clean, maintainable, modern C# code.Upgrade data access layers (ADO.NET, EF, EF Core) and manage NuGet dependency changes.Use GitHub Copilot for code analysis, refactoring suggestions, dead-code detection, and modernization insights.Troubleshoot build/runtime issues and optimize performance post-migration.Collaborate with QA/DevOps teams for testing and deployment readiness.Required SkillsStrong experience with .NET Framework 4.x and modern .NET.Hands-on migration experience – Good to haveProficiency in GitHub Copilot for code review, refactoring, summarization, and analysis.Experience with EF/EF Core, NuGet upgrades, and debugging legacy code.Good communication skills and ability to work independently Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft ASP.NET.

This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
