Role Overview

Curriculum Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Framework

  : Design progressive K–12 learning pathways across STEAM domains (Robotics, AI, Design, Biomimicry, AR/VR, Sustainability, Woodworking, etc.).

• Project-Based Modules

  : Develop engaging, real-world projects (e.g., “Design a drone inspired by birds” for Biomimicry Lab).

• 21st-Century Skills Integration

  : Ensure creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship are embedded.

• Assessment Design

  : Create rubrics, reflection tools, and competency trackers aligned to outcomes.

• Teacher Enablement

  : Develop teacher guides, facilitator manuals, and training materials.

• Cross-Team Collaboration

  : Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), EdTech specialists, and creative teams to bring labs alive.

• Innovation & Research

  : Stay updated with global STEAM education trends (NGSS, IB, PBL best practices) and integrate them.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Education, Engineering, Design, or related STEAM fields.
• 4+ years of experience in

  curriculum design, instructional design, or STEAM pedagogy

  .
• Strong background in

  project-based learning (PBL)

  , inquiry-driven teaching, and hands-on education.
• Familiarity with

  K–12 progression

  (elementary → middle → high school).
• Excellent ability to

  translate complex STEAM concepts into child-friendly projects

  .
• Experience designing teacher training resources.
• Strong research, writing, and documentation skills.
• Bonus: Exposure to

  maker education, design thinking, Fab Labs, or innovation labs

  .
