Job Description

As a Credit Portfolio Officer at our company, your role involves leading collections policy activities such as portfolio monitoring, deep dives, strategy enhancements, and implementation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, review policy exceptions, and work closely with control teams to ensure effective controls. Additionally, you will participate in regulatory reviews and exams, supporting all Lines of Business (LoBs) including Brands, CRS, PIL, and USRB. **Responsibilities:** - Assist in developing a reporting framework for USPB collections across all LoBs - Monitor monthly trends, identify insights, and enhance the reporting platform proactively - Analyze USRB policies, identify gaps, work with controls team for remediation, and implement compensating controls - Enhance collections strategies, lead strategic initiatives, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders - Establish a framework for portfolio risk assessment, evaluating credit and financial performance across lending products and industry segments - Understand credit policies, industry regulations, and their impact on new partners or product initiatives - Build cross-functional partnerships and network with internal and external stakeholders - Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment for risk, financial, and data analyses - Prepare risk management presentations for senior management, highlighting portfolio performance and areas of risk/opportunity - Operate with independence, exercise judgment, and act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of experience in credit card risk management or equivalent in the financial services industry - Ability to apply credit and risk principles towards business goals - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills - Bachelor's degree/University degree required, Master's degree preferred If you require a reasonable accommodation to apply for a career opportunity or use our search tools due to a disability, please review Accessibility at Citi.
