Job Description

Role Overview: The Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst role at Citi is an intermediate-level position where you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing risk policies and processes for Collections and Recovery across all Lines of Business for USPB. You will work on strategic initiatives, lead analytical projects, assist senior management in deep-dives, interact with external and internal stakeholders for strategy implementation, approvals, and governance. Your role will also involve supporting regulatory exams. This position is an individual contributor role. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of new strategies, monitor and enhance existing strategies for collections and recovery - Collaborate with stakeholders on implementation and approvals from regulators, partner with Ops for seamless execution of strategies - Monitor portfolios and strategies post-implementation, and help the team understand any gaps that may arise - Work on policy governance and mitigate issues due to leakage or policy implementation gap - Support all Lines of Business including PIL and USRB - Contribute to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and workflows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge - Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial, and data analyses - Research customer and/or management queries using risk systems and data, and support ad-hoc risk policy analyses and projects - Participate in developing, testing, and optimizing credit policies to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance - Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats - Prepare risk management presentations for senior management - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Qualifications: - 8+ years of relevant experience - Knowledge of commercial risk analytics - Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals - Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize, and drive results with a sense of urgency - Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience required - Master's Degree is preferred Additional Company Details: If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use Citi's search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.
