Job Description

The Credit Portfolio Analyst II position is an intermediate-level role that involves conducting credit reviews, portfolio monitoring, reporting/MIS, and identifying credit trends. You will be responsible for organizing and analyzing large amounts of data to provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions that influence key business decisions in Risk Management. Your main responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, client credit analyses, and contributing to the development of new techniques within Risk Management. You will escalate credit concerns to senior risk and business managers, propose risk mitigation actions, and utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) for data analysis. Additionally, you will research customer queries, manage risk levels across multiple products, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. As a Credit Portfolio Analyst II, you will be expected to be proactive in seeking new ways to overcome challenges, communicate alternative views, and prioritize team and enterprise success. You should take personal accountability for managing potential risks, anticipate problems, and deliver excellence in your work. Your role will also involve engaging key stakeholders, promoting diversity and inclusion, and advocating for solutions that benefit both clients and the community. Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis or corporate banking - Experience in financial analysis, accounting, and valuation - Knowledge of credit and banking products, credit analytics, risk assessment, and transaction execution - Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication - Ability to work independently and in a team - Problem-solving skills and familiarity with risk management software and analytical tools - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Skills: Analytical Thinking, Constructive Debate, Escalation Management, Industry Knowledge, Policy and Procedure, Process Execution, Product Knowledge, Risk Controls, Risk Identification, and Assessment If you require a reasonable accommodation due to a disability, please review the Accessibility at Citi.
