Southern is a Multi-State Co-operative Society, registered with the Central Registrar of Co-operative Societies under the Ministry Of Co-operation, Govt. of India. With operations in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, Southern Multi State Cooperative Credit and Multi Purpose Society Limited is on a mission of future growth. The society has gained trust and faith from the people and is dedicated to transforming lives through its mission. Currently, it has 43 customer facilitation centres across Kerala and plans to expand further in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Credit Officer located in Trivandrum. The Credit Officer will be responsible for managing credit applications, conducting credit assessments, and ensuring compliance with credit policies. Daily tasks include analyzing financial data, assessing creditworthiness, and liaising with clients to obtain necessary information. The role requires maintaining relationships with customers and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Credit Management and Credit skills
Strong Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge
Excellent Communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience in the cooperative or banking sector is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
