Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for underwriting SME loans, managing a team of credit underwriters, and ensuring the completion of credit and KYC documentation

Preferred candidate profile

Credit underwriting
: Underwrite secured and unsecured loan proposals for SMEs according to established policies and procedures.
Team supervision
: Lead and guide a team of credit underwriters.
Customer interaction
: Conduct personal discussions with customers to evaluate their creditworthiness.
Risk management
: Proactively manage front-end delinquencies by contacting customers upon initial presentation.
Documentation and verification
: Ensure timely completion of credit/KYC documents and perform verifications through telephonic, field, and collateral visits.
Sales coordination
: Work with the sales team to achieve business targets and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Policy adherence
: Maintain strict adherence to the bank's credit policy guidelines and organizational objectives.
