Designation - Credit Manager Location - Chennai Product handled - Working capital, Equipment & Machinery Finance Role & responsibilities Loan Application Review : Analyse and verify loan applications and supporting documents. Risk Assessment : Conduct thorough risk assessments and credit analyses to determine the borrowers ability to repay. Compliance : Ensure all loan applications comply with regulatory standards and company policies. Decision Making : Make loan approval or denial decisions based on risk assessment and company guidelines. Documentation : Prepare detailed reports on assessment findings and document reasons for loan approval or denial and also maintaining paper documents as per company rules. Communication : Interact with loan managers (Sales) and clients to obtain additional information or clarification as needed. Market Knowledge : Stay updated on industry and market trends and changes in regulations affecting loan underwriting. Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in finance, Preferably CA or MBA finance from a reputed college Experience : 3-5years of experience in loan underwriting, preferably with high-ticket loans(working capital, Equipment & Machinery Finance) Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in underwriting software and financial tools.
