Credit Analyst / Credit Associate / Credit Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Credit Analysis & Appraisal

• Analyze financial statements, CMA data, balance sheets, and profitability reports.
• Assess clients creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
• Prepare and review CMA data, projections, and banking documentation.
• Evaluate proposals for working capital, term loans, and equipment finance.

2. Loan Syndication & Bank Coordination

• Liaise with banks/NBFCs for credit processing and sanctioning.
• Prepare detailed credit proposals, project reports, and sanction note drafts.
• Coordinate for submission of financial data, queries, and clarifications to lenders.

3. Financial Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all financial documents are compliant with bank/NBFC requirements.
• Maintain client financial records and loan-related MIS.
• Assist in preparing ratios like DSCR, DER, QDER, Interest Coverage, etc.

4. Client Servicing & Reporting

• Support clients in preparing financial projections and funding roadmaps.
• Provide regular updates on loan applications and sanction status.
• Maintain strong client and lender relationships.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in preparing CMA Data and Project Reports.
• Working knowledge of banking products (CC, OD, TL, LC, BG).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in

  Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• Candidates with

  CA (Inter) / CMA(Inter)/MBA Finance / CFA (preferred but not mandatory).
