Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Credentialing Specialist, located in Ahmedabad. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for processing and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing of medical staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Day-to-day tasks include verifying professional credentials, maintaining credentialing files, liaising with healthcare providers and insurance companies, handling inquiries related to credentialing, and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

Experience in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
Knowledge of Medicare regulations and requirements
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in computer software and databases related to credentialing
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) is a plus
