Creative Lead

We’re looking for a Creative Lead who combines the eye of a traditional Art Director with the technical skills of a modern AI Engineer. You understand that "good design" isn't just about pixels; it's about lighting, composition, texture, and emotion.

You will be the "Visual Brain" of the company. You won't just design screens; you will "direct" our AI models to produce assets that look professionally photographed or illustrated, not generic. You speak the language of cinema (angles, focal lengths) and art history—and you know how to translate that into advanced prompts.

Key Responsibilities

Generative Art Direction (The "Eye")

• Directing the AI:

  You don't just "prompt"; you compose. You apply deep knowledge of camera angles, lighting setups (e.g., chiaroscuro, rim lighting), and color theory to generate assets that look distinct and expensive.

• Visual Vocabulary:

  Translate abstract concepts (e.g., "trust," "speed," "elegance") into concrete visual styles using references from art history, cinema, and modern photography.

• Quality Control:

  You are the filter. You know exactly why an image feels "off" (bad perspective, uncanny valley lighting) and you know how to fix it.

Product Assets & Templates (The Value)

• Template Architecture:

  Build the "Gold Standard" presets/templates for our platform. You define the prompts and styles that our customers will use.

• Style Consistency:

  Ensure that whether we are generating 3D icons, photorealistic people, or vector illustrations, the "vibe" remains consistent with our brand (Minimalist, Modern, Curated).

Brand & UI Polish (The Vibe)

• Visual Identity:

  Own the end-to-end visual language. Ensure our platform feels like a premium tool (Think: MyMind, Linear, Raycast).

• Interface Aesthetics:

  Work with the product team (Figma) to ensure the UI framing complements the AI art.

Requirements

Experience:

• Portfolio > Years:

  We need to see your taste. Show us your best AI-generated art, mood boards, or photography.

• Artistic Foundation:

  You have a grasp of traditional artistic principles, including the Golden Ratio, the Rule of Thirds, Color Harmony, and Typography.

• Advanced AI User:

  You go beyond basic prompting. You understand parameters, stylization weights (--s, --iw), seeds, and ControlNets (Midjourney/Stable Diffusion).

Skills:

• Cinematographic Eye:

  You know the difference between a 35mm and 85mm lens look. You understand how lighting changes the mood.

• Prompt Engineering:

  You treat prompting as code. You know how to structure language to get consistent results.

• Curator:

  You are obsessed with details. You collect inspiration from high-end sources (Are.na, Savee, cinema) rather than generic stock sites.

• Figma Proficient:

  You can arrange your beautiful assets into a clean, functional interface.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills):

• Background in Photography or Filmmaking.
• Experience with Fine Art or Art History.
• Motion design skills to show off your static creations.
• Video editing skills
