Role Summary


COER University is seeking a Creative Designer & Video Editor


Success in this position means:

·

·       Supporting admission, placement, research, and institutional campaigns with compelling visual storytelling.

·       Ensuring consistency in brand messaging across all digital and print touchpoints.

·       Working collaboratively with the marketing and admissions teams to meet campaign timelines and goals.


Key Responsibilities


Design & Visual Creation

·

·       Develop layouts, illustrations, icons, and infographics that simplify and enhance communication.

·       Maintain brand consistency by adhering to visual guidelines, colour palettes, logos, and typography standards.


Video Editing & Motion Graphics

·

·       Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, animations, overlays, and sound design to elevate video output.

·       Repurpose raw footage into polished, platform-ready content.


Campaign Support & Strategy Alignment

·

·       Create A/B variations for digital ads suited for awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

·       Work with the digital marketing team to ensure creatives support campaign objectives and KPIs.


Collaboration & Execution

·

·       Collaborate with marketing, admissions, academic departments, and leadership for content alignment.

·       Organise and maintain an asset library of design files, footage, templates, and brand materials.


Qualifications & Skills


Educational Background

·

·       Relevant certifications in design or video editing will be an advantage.


Professional Experience

·       Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience

·       Prior experience in education, corporate branding, digital agencies, or content creation teams is preferred.


Technical Skills

·       Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Figma

video editing tools

·       Understanding of motion graphics, animation basics, colour grading, and sound editing.

·       Knowledge of social media specifications and asset optimisation.


Creative Skills

·

·       Ability to convert briefs into creative concepts and mood boards.

·       Eye for detail, originality, and consistency in design.


Behavioural & Soft Skills

·

·       Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

·       Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

·       Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.


Success Indicators in This Role

·

·       Increasing digital engagement, reach, and visibility through strong visual output.

·       Supporting higher campaign performance and reduced cost per lead through effective creatives.

·       On-time delivery of projects across departments.

·       Positive feedback from stakeholders (marketing, admissions, leadership).
