We are seeking compassionate and target-oriented Student Counselors to join our team and guide prospective students through the admission process for our prestigious 40-year-old university, which operates 11 branches across India.

Core Responsibilities

The Student Counselor is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for all student admissions, converting inquiries into successful enrollments through expert guidance and relationship building:


1. Student Counseling and Conversion:


Counsel prospective students and parents on various programs, career paths, and the unique value proposition of the university's courses.

Handle all incoming inquiries (walk-ins, calls, digital leads) efficiently and provide accurate, detailed information regarding admission criteria, fee structures, and application procedures.

Consistently follow up with leads through multiple channels (phone, email, in-person visits) to achieve monthly enrollment targets.


2. Education Sales and Outreach:


Leverage knowledge in Education Sales to effectively persuade and secure admissions, focusing on clear communication and addressing concerns.

Participate actively in educational fairs, school visits, and promotional events in the assigned region to generate new leads and referrals.


3. Process Management and Administration:


Assist students with the timely completion and submission of application forms and required documentation.

Maintain meticulous records of all counseling activities, student data, and conversion metrics in the CRM system.

Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions teams to ensure a smooth transition for enrolled students.


4. Reporting and Compliance:


Prepare regular reports on daily counseling productivity, sales funnel status, and lead sources.

Submit accurate expense reports for Travel and Daily Allowances.


Required Skills and Competencies

1. Communication: Exceptional listening, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills; ability to build instant rapport and trust with students and parents.

2. Sales Acumen: Proven ability to convert leads and achieve targets, with specific experience or knowledge in Education Sales.Empathy and Patience: A counseling approach that is student-centric, supportive, and patient.

3. Field Readiness: Willingness to engage in local field activities, including school visits and promotional events, and manage related travel requirements.

4. Academic Alignment: A degree in a Commerce background provides a relevant foundation for understanding financial aspects and career counseling for many popular university courses.
