Description
As an Admissions Sales officer, you'll be responsible for promoting educational programs, engaging with prospective students and their families, guiding them through the admissions process, and ultimately increasing enrollment numbers and also as a Charity Fundraiser, you'll play a vital role in securing funding and resources for the organization through various fundraising initiatives, events, and campaigns, while building and maintaining relationships with donors and supporters, increase awareness of the organization's mission and work. The current position plays a vital role in recruiting and enrolling students by providing information about academic programs, application procedures, financial aid options, campus life, and other relevant aspects of the institution. They are responsible for building relationships with prospective students and their families, answering their questions, and guiding them through the admissions process to ultimately convert them into enrolled students. Roles & Responsibilities: · Recruit students : Attend college fairs, visit high schools, and organize campus tours · Review applications : Check for missing information, verify references, and assess eligibility · Provide information : Answer questions about the college, courses, and financial aid · Help students apply : Guide students through the application process and help them complete the FAFSA · Follow up with students & parents : Contact students and decision makers about application issues, and help them with any questions · Coordinate events : Plan and organize events such as open houses and information sessions · Build relationships : Work with high school counsellors, teachers, and community organizations · Fundraising Strategy and Planning: · Develop and implement fundraising strategies and plans to achieve annual fundraising goals. · Research and identify potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and trusts. · Develop and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. · Write compelling proposals and grant applications to secure funding and generate sponsorship. · Develop and implement fundraising campaigns, including online and offline initiatives. · Event Planning and Management: · Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, such as galas, walks, runs, and other special events. · Manage event budgets, logistics, and volunteers. · Promote fundraising events through various channels, including social media, email, and print materials. · Donor Relations and Stewardship: · Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, both existing and potential. · Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors. · Provide timely and personalized acknowledgements, updates, and impact reports to donors. · Organize and participate in donor events and meetings. · Communication and Outreach: · Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of the organization's mission and work. · Create and distribute fundraising materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and website content. · Represent the organization at community events and meetings. · Manage social media and online fundraising platforms. · Volunteer Management: · Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support fundraising activities. · Provide ongoing support and recognition to volunteers. · Reporting and Analysis: · Track and analyse fundraising performance, identifying areas for improvement. · Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities and results.
