Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counsellor, located in Anand. The Counsellor will provide personalized guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their academic and career journeys. Responsibilities include understanding students' aspirations, addressing their challenges, offering career advice, conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, and liaising with faculty or administrative departments when needed. The Counsellor will also organize workshops to promote mental wellness and growth, ensuring students achieve their full potential in both personal and academic capacities.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills to effectively interact with students and other stakeholders
- Expertise in career counseling, academic advising, and student development
- Proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and critical thinking
- Experience in conducting workshops or seminars to promote student wellness and growth
- Familiarity with educational frameworks, mental health awareness, and student support strategies
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field (preferable)
- Prior experience as a student/academic counselor or similar role is an advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team in an academic setting
