Job Description

As a Costing Engineer for EPC projects, your role will involve preparing project cost estimates, conducting techno-commercial evaluations, and supporting negotiations with vendors to ensure optimum pricing and quality compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, and subcontracting for EPC projects. - Conduct techno-commercial analysis of vendor quotations and coordinate technical clarifications. - Assist in bid evaluation, cost comparison sheets, and price negotiations with suppliers and contractors. - Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to gather inputs for cost modeling. - Develop and maintain cost databases and pricing benchmarks for various project components. - Support project budgeting, cost control, and value engineering initiatives. - Ensure compliance with company policies, specifications, and commercial terms during vendor finalization. - Prepare management reports highlighting deviations, savings, and cost trends. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech in Electrical. - 2-5 years of experience in cost estimation, techno-commercial evaluation, or project procurement within EPC, MEP, or infrastructure Industrial Commercial projects. - Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills. - Excellent command over Excel / MS Office and exposure to Tally/ERP or costing tools. - Strong communication and coordination abilities across departments.
