Role Overview

We are hiring a Costing Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and fabrication costing. The ideal candidate will lead cost estimation for new product development, manage BOMs, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize cost and design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for fabricated components
• Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing and design feasibility
• Approve part costs and ensure documentation for accounts
• Analyze customer drawings and convert to fabrication-ready designs
• Lead costing for tractor and farm equipment components

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in costing and fabrication
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Strong understanding of GD&T and reverse engineering
• Excellent communication and project coordination skill Preferred Skills
• Experience in sheet metal drafting and laser cutting
• Familiarity with tractor component design
• Supplier negotiation and cost optimization expertise
