Cosmetic Production Manager

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Control

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are met as per sales and dispatch plans.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and raw material utilization.
• Reduce production downtime and wastage.

2. Manufacturing Operations

• Oversee manufacturing of cosmetics such as lotions, creams, shampoos, oils, soaps, serums, etc.
• Ensure correct batch size, formulation, and process parameters.
• Supervise mixing, filling, labeling, and packing operations.
• Approve Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and production logs.

3. Quality & GMP Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 22716, Schedule M-II, and internal SOPs.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for in-process and final product checks.
• Handle deviations, OOS, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in production areas.

4. Team Management

• Lead and train production supervisors, chemists, and operators.
• Allocate duties and monitor performance of staff.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and productivity of the workforce.

5. Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor consumption of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
• Coordinate with stores and purchase departments.
• Control production costs and minimize wastage and rework.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain production reports, BMRs, equipment logs, and SOPs.
• Prepare daily and monthly production MIS reports.
• Support audits by regulatory authorities and customers.

7. Equipment & Maintenance Coordination

• Ensure proper functioning and calibration of machinery.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Recommend equipment upgrades or process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry / Cosmetic Science)
• Diploma in Industrial / Production Management (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
