Corporate Accountant

As a General Accountant at Addepar, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the general ledger and preparing journal entries - Completing month-end closing tasks - Reconciling various accounts - Assisting with year-end financial statement audits and internal control documentation - Demonstrating a strong understanding of accruals and prepaid expenses - Managing the Fixed Asset process, including asset creation and depreciation - Continuously evaluating and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred - 3+ years of Core Accounting experience - Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting - Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite and Coupa, along with advanced Excel skills It is important to note that this role requires working from the Pune office 3 days a week following a hybrid work model.
