General Ledger Accountant . Primary Responsibilities Maintain and record financial transactions in the general ledger system, including journal entries related to income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Responsible for recording, reconciling, and analyzing all financial transactions within an organization to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations as per statutory requirement. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reports. Reconcile account balances, review supporting documentation, and resolve discrepancies to guarantee data accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and others) for smooth financial reporting. Assist in tax preparation and regulatory filings, support audits, and help implement improvements to accounting processes. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; preferably 4+ years’ experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Technical proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communication to share accounting information with management and other departments. Thorough understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and compliance requirements. .
