What You'd Actually Do (The Opportunity)

• Financial Gatekeeper:

  You make sure a project is financially sound before it starts by checking initial studies and comparing costs to similar projects.

• Project Setup:

  You set up the project's financial structure in the company's main computer system (

  S4Hana/SAP

  ) and create the necessary paperwork (like the CIMT) to get it officially approved and running.

• Tracking & Reporting:

  You constantly update the

  spending dashboard (Capex dashboard)

  and regularly adjust the

  forecast

  for how much money will be spent (rolling forecast and annual bud

• How You'd Make a Real Difference (Impact)

You use financial analysis to make sure the project stays on track and profitable.

• Constant Checks:

  You meet weekly with the Project Manager to review the construction schedule and provide crucial

  financial insights

  (e.g., "We're spending too fast," or "This part of the schedule is costing more than planned").

• Financial Health Check:

  You look at the project's

  cash flow

  (money coming in and going out) and do

  variance analysis

  (checking why the actual costs/revenue are different from what was planned).

• Driving Profit:

  You actively look for ways to work with the team to

  save money, improve profit (gross margin), and optimize cash flow.

• Keeping it Legal & Clean:

  You make sure all financial records are kept properly for

  audits

  , and you act as a "guardian" to ensure the project

  follows all company rules and ethical guidelines

• Finishing Up:

  When the project is done, you handle the final paperwork, ensure all costs are accounted for, and correctly

What You Need to Bring (Your Background)

This role requires a blend of finance knowledge, specific software skills, and personal drive.

• Education:

  A high-level degree in finance or accounting, or a professional certification like

  CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

• Tech Skills:

  You must be highly skilled in the main business software systems, especially

  SAP HANA/ECC 6

  , specifically the modules dealing with Projects (

• Experience:
