As an EY Assurance Senior, you will have the opportunity to lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality work in alignment with EY Global Audit Methodology. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading engagements and ensuring the team delivers work as per EY Global Audit Methodology. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of aligned engagements and EY GAM while performing reviews. - Developing productive relationships with key EY Global counterparts. - Ensuring EY Quality and Risk Management procedures are embedded into the engagement teams' work. - Proactively discussing workflow management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. - Monitoring team utilization, budget, and other operational matters. - Establishing expectations of value to be delivered and identifying opportunities for improvement. - Standardizing review processes and leveraging best practices. - Motivating and leading team members, fostering key talents, and providing performance feedback. - Being responsible for various operational matters related to engagements. - Conducting timely performance reviews and providing training. Skills and attributes for success include knowledge of accounting standards, excellent communication skills, project management skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to form strong working relationships. To qualify for this role, you must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with relevant work experience. Additionally, proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, along with interest in business and commerciality, is desirable.
