Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and trend-aware Copywriter to craft engaging, impactful content that connects with diverse audiences — from prospective students to industry leaders. The role emphasizes digital-friendly, concise, and high-impact writing while also supporting broader university marketing and communication needs. The ideal candidate will combine storytelling flair with an understanding of modern communication styles and audience engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Short-form & Campaign Copy

    : Write attention-grabbing headlines, captions, and taglines for various digital platforms and campaigns.
  • Storytelling

    : Develop narratives showcasing student journeys, faculty expertise, campus life, research breakthroughs, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Content Planning:

    Collaborate with the marketing team to align copy with planned campaigns and events.
  • Creative Collaboration

    : Work closely with designers and media teams to match strong visuals with equally strong copy.
  • Multi-channel Writing

    : Produce content for websites, brochures, blogs, emailers, press releases, and advertisements.
  • Social Media Content:

    Create platform-appropriate, engaging copy for posts, reels, and campaigns to increase reach and audience interaction.
  • Engagement Focus

    : Adapt tone, style, and format for different audience segments to drive higher engagement.
  • Performance Awareness:

    Monitor content performance insights to refine and improve messaging.
  • Trend Awareness:

    Stay updated on communication styles, cultural references, and formats that resonate with youth and academic audiences.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of copywriting experience, preferably in education, media, or advertising.
  • Strong command of English, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to write concise, engaging, and platform-appropriate content.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to translate ideas into compelling copy.
  • Comfortable working under deadlines in a collaborative environment.


Preferred

  • Experience in higher education communication.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with digital campaign planning and execution.
