Role Overview

Copywriter

This role involves developing copy for marketing campaigns, WhatsApp flows, social media, websites, and brand communication—ensuring each message is sharp, persuasive, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Marketing Copywriting

• Write clear, concise, and high-impact copy for WhatsApp campaigns, social media, ads, landing pages, emailers, and product descriptions.
• Develop content that drives engagement, conversions, and brand recall.
• Craft targeted messaging for different customer segments, platforms, and objectives.

Brand Storytelling

• Build brand narratives, tone frameworks, taglines, and messaging guidelines.
• Translate business insights, product USPs, and marketing strategies into compelling stories.
• Maintain consistency in voice and messaging across all touchpoints.

Campaign Development

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and strategy teams to conceptualize campaigns.
• Create copy variations, hooks, CTAs, and value propositions suitable for A/B testing.
• Support performance marketing by crafting ad copy optimized for click-through and conversions.

Content Strategy & Research

• Understand customer psychology, market trends, and competitor communication to refine copy.
• Generate fresh ideas for brand communication based on cultural moments, consumer insights, and platform behavior.
• Build content calendars and contribute to creative planning sessions.

Review & Quality Control

• Edit and proofread content for grammar, flow, structure, and brand tone.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Work closely with designers to ensure copy–visual alignment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Strong command over English; ability to write crisp, catchy, and impactful copy.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Understanding of consumer behavior, sales funnels, and performance-led content.
• Ability to write in Hindi or another regional language (optional but beneficial).
• Creative thinker with strong storytelling ability.
• Proactive, structured, and deadline-driven.
• Comfortable with feedback, iteration, and collaboration.
• High ownership mindset with an eye for brand-building.
