Coordinator - Proposal Support

Responsibilities

• Assists in the overall production of standard proposals/qualifications and other marketing materials with direct supervision
• Researches, gathers, edits, and produces proposal materials, including verifying and formatting proposal information.
• Coordination and production of proposal materials
• Maintains proposal, qualification, and marketing files, including resumes, project descriptions, and marketing database
• Supports client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings
• May coordinate communications activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for newsletters, and coordinating project awards and other special communications-related projects
• Other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a degree in Journalism or English
• 2 to 5 years of experience in proposal development and coordination
• Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, marketing strategy development, group facilitation, and teamwork
• Possesses a strategic mindset and sound judgment
• Ability to build trust and influence others, and work with all levels of staff
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs
• A self-motivated team member who demonstrates initiative to go above and beyond the task at hand, and can effectively multitask
• Cultural awareness, conscientious, and open mind
• Experience in engineering consultancy preferred
