As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Pricing & Insights, you will be responsible for showcasing your expertise in commodity markets, including Iron Ore, Scrap, Steel, and Ferro, to drive strategic decisions and promote business growth. Your key role will involve developing and executing operational strategies to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability within the Commodities sector. Building strong relationships with industry stakeholders, managing risks associated with commodity trading, and monitoring performance metrics will be crucial aspects of your responsibility. Your leadership will be instrumental in providing strategic direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards governing commodity trading, along with the exploration and implementation of innovative technologies to optimize operations, will also be central to your role. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in a related field and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role focusing on pricing strategies and market insights for various commodities. Demonstrated expertise in Iron Ore, Scrap, Steel, and Ferro markets, strong analytical and leadership skills, financial acumen, client focus, and regulatory understanding are essential requirements. Your ability to drive innovation, adapt to dynamic environments, and engage in frequent national and international travel will be key to succeeding in this role. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent people skills, soft skills, technical skills, and a positive attitude.
