About you and the role:
As a controller co-ordinator based out in Mumbai, you will support the Invoice to Cash organization by ensuring accurate cash application and contributing to key Indicators such as cash Percent Current Receivables and Days Sales Outstanding. The role requires proficiency through on-the-job training, strong process knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across teams to achieve objectives. You will apply analytical skills to resolve complex issues, improve efficiency, and serve as a resource for team members, impacting the quality and timeliness of financial operations. Your performance will impact the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of your own work and your teams work
Key Responsibilities
The Cash Application Controllers Coordinator is accountable for managing accurate cash postings, ensuring integrity in the cash application process, and supporting financial reporting activities. This role involves close coordination with receivable specialists, bank, treasury, and invoicing teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Cash Application Process payments via various methods wire transfers, cheques, etc and ensure accurate posting in SAP.
  • Payment Handling- Manage wrong company payments, reversals, unidentified payments, and netting requests.
  • Reconciliation and Review Perform account reconciliations and internal reviews before certification submission.
  • Accuracy and Compliance Ensure integrity of all accounting transactions and resolve payment discrepancies per business rules.
  • Closing Activities Execute monthly and quarterly closings in line with global schedules.
  • Mailbox and Documentation Monitor functional mailbox for timely responses and update process documentation as required.
Qualifications:
Accounting Degree.
Minimum 3years of working experience in accounting, with SAP knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS tools is expected.
  • Fluent in English Spoken and written.

  • Accounts Receivable.
  • Recordkeeping.
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Cash Application. Wire Transfer and Cash-Handling.
  • Effective communication.
Additional notes:
  • Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
  • The ability to accommodate flexible schedule aligned with international time Zone is essential.
