Contracts Manager

Role & responsibilities

Core team member for business growth management of Bioenergy Business Unit. The position will be responsible to lead the Project & Construction Management for international projects. The position will be a part of the decision-making team for all the actions, risks mitigation, contract management, and problems solving during the process and ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. This position needs extensive travel in domestic & international regions.

• Strong knowledge in EPC / FIDIC Contract execution for International Projects (Fertilizers, Refineries, Petrochemicals etc.)
• Lead the team of Project and construction managers and cross-functional team members. Handle multiple projects in allocated regions or key account customers with the help of a team of project / construction managers and project /construction engineers.
• Responsible for the successful completion of projects, on time performance, profitability, cash flows, Risk mitigation and meeting all contractual obligations. Contribute to the decision-making process and become a reliable member of BUs core leadership.
• Lead the communication and dealings with international clients, consultants and concerned agencies.
• Prepare and track resource planning for project team, construction team, and contractors, service agencies required to execute, supervise, construction, commissioning for successful completion of the project.
• Lead from the front in decisions, actions, and follow up. Adherence to the SOPs, contractual terms & conditions, HSE, rules & regulations. Drive the values & guiding principles of the company in each action to ensure the same has been followed by the team.
• Define, identify, train, retain, motivate, and nurture the team for the execution of a project and success. Identify, establish, implement, and sustain all the necessary processes for the successful execution of various projects.
• Work allocation, planning of project managers, construction Managers and Engineers and ensure optimization of resources and overheads

Preferred candidate profile

Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 15-20 yrs

Educational Qualification: B. Tech. / B.E. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering AND Project Management Professional (PMP Certification) and FIDIC Contract Execution

• Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, construction, installation processes, and procedures. Hands-on experience in international construction, project planning, resource planning, cash flow, invoicing, collection ,and all techno-commercial terminologies in typical international projects scope like feed, engineering, supply, EPC, PMS, LSTK, construction, supervision of construction.
• Project management: Cost, Delivery, quality, and logistics of domestic & international large-size projects.
• Knowledge of Domestic & International codes and standards like IS, ASME, EN, Material, NDT, Welding, inspections, etc.
• Hands-on experience in handling of multiple complex projects of various sizes & capacities and related workload levelling & planning for successful completion. Hands on experience on handling, managing international trade & logistics and its terminologies for deliveries (Inco- terms) multi-modal transportation
